Summary:

This ERP Systems Project Manager role will operate within the Wabtec Oracle ERP DevOps & Architecture team. It will be responsible for guiding the development and execution of critical deliverables in Oracle ERP, including documentation, printing, shipping, inventory, and manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organize demands and requests from business partners and other technical organizations
• Coordinate architecture efforts across multiple pillar app teams interfacing or leveraging the ERP's data
• Ensure ERP documents meet business goals and objectives while enforcing the use of flexible / reusable design standards.
• Ensure changes related to all projects/modules go through proper testing and relevant documentation is created for future reference
• Support and approve architectural decisions for documentation, shipping, inventory, or manufacturing modules
• Drive the definition of future architecture direction across the ERP Landscape (ERP modules, both on premise and cloud offerings)
• Support research and evaluation of emerging data technology, industry, and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities
• Motivates peers and business team members to promote a collaborative environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• 4 or more years of experience with Oracle EBS modules or Oracle development, preferably for a manufacturing, technology, or distribution company in a global, multi-tiered supply chain environment
• 2 or more years of experience with Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle document formatting
• 3 or more years of project management or development lead experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Desired Technical Skills
  
  • Experience with Oracle R12 architecture in one or more of these Oracle EBS processes / modules: Shipping, Inventory, and Manufacturing
  • Understanding of module specific API's and ability to design, implement and support custom extensions that integrate with Oracle standard processes
  • Experience with Oracle documentation & printing processes, including XML and RTF formats
  • Ability to read and understand Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Experience with Oracle database and package structure
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with members of an architecture and development team
  • Ability to create design documents, manage development tasks, and document test plans
  • Ability to explain design method to broader team and motivate peers to adopt standards where applicable
