Job Description
We are pleased to announce the relocation of our corporate headquarters to Greenway Plaza's Phoenix Tower in Houston's Upper Kirby neighborhood, with the move expected to be completed by the Fall of 2023.
The Escrow officer/Manager will lead a team in daily escrow activities and assist in expanding our operations and conducting the closing process for real estate transactions in the State of Texas. This position needs to be proficient in the full closing process from receipting contracts, opening title, addressing title issues, preparing closing statements, funding, initiating wires, and following up on Releases after closing.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Designated On-Site Manager for the title insurance agent and administering and managing day-to-day operations of the escrow department.
- Serve as a licensed and appointed Escrow Officer.
- Prepare and review CD/HUD-1 and all other closing documents.
- Assist employees with compliance issues, using available accounting and underwriting resources.
- Manage quality control for compliance with TDI.
- Manage pipeline of real estate transactions according to sales contracts, lender instructions, company requirements, and other written instructions.
- Provide a high quality of work and excellent customer service while remaining flexible under changing schedules and demands.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position will supervise some personnel in the department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Requires at least five years of title and escrow processing experience.
- Two to three years of management experience preferred.
- Technical knowledge of the closing process is required.
- Licensed Escrow Officer.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- SoftPro experience preferred.
- Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
