ESG Associate

Euronet Worldwide, Inc. is looking for an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Associate to join their team in the Financial Services industry. Euronet operates a unique network of networks across the globe that offers diverse cash-based and digitally driven services to businesses and individuals. As an ESG Associate at Euronet, your job is to play a critical role in ensuring that environmental, social and governance issues are integrated into business operations. This includes seeking out new ways to make the company more sustainable, conducting audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and developing strategies to address issues of social responsibility. Working closely with the senior management team, you will help to drive Euronet's commitment to responsible business practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits to assess the company's performance in meeting ESG standards and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies that improve Euronet's overall environmental impact, such as reducing carbon footprint, waste management and water usage
• Engage with stakeholders to identify emerging ESG risks and opportunities, and take appropriate measures to safeguard the company's reputation
• Support the production of ESG reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Liaise with other departments within the company, such as legal, risk management and human resources, to ensure ESG concerns are integrated into their practices
• Monitor and analyze emerging ESG trends, initiatives and regulations, and provide regular updates to senior management
• Perform other duties as assigned by the senior management team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, social sciences or related field
• Strong knowledge of ESG issues and trends, and an understanding of their impact on the financial industry
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret industry standards and regulations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with ESG reporting frameworks (such as GRI, CDP, SASB) is desirable
