ISS Data Methodology and Quantitative Modeling Group is searching for a deputy head with profound knowledge in global proxy and annual report disclosure to manage thousands of governance data elements collected by ISS.

What You'll Do:
  • Ownership of ISS governance data contents and methodology with goals to maintain and enhance data integrity
  • Intensively engage and coordinate with all ISS business lines and develop data solutions
  • Lead a group of Subject Matter Experts to research a variety of data issues and inquiries and respond with effective communications
  • Spearhead the development of data methodology while collaborating with project managers to maintain in-house data collection application
  • Work with the Group head to develop ISS data strategies
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation in collection methodology and client-facing data dictionary
  • Lead major data projects on ad-hoc basis


What We Need from You:
  • Minimum 12-15 years of direct corporate governance experiences with deep knowledge in the US proxy and 8-k filings, global meeting circulars, and annual reports
  • Extensive comprehension of ISS US and Global Research Policy
  • Demonstrated strong management, communication, and leadership skills
  • Basic knowledge in database schema design and SQL query skills are highly desired
  • Other programming experiences are a plus
  • MBA or MS in Finance preferred
