What you will be doing

Looking for an Intern to join the team during the school year and stay on for our 10 week Summer Internship Program
As a member of the AmerisourceBergen Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability team, the ESG Reporting Intern supports the corporate vision and strategy to make AmerisourceBergen a more sustainable and responsible enterprise. The Intern's work will span across multiple subject areas, including but not limited to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics. The wide scope of the role will allow the Intern to gain experience across a variety of areas in Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability.
What your background should look like
Currently enrolled in undergraduate school with an upcoming completion of a bachelor's degree. Must be able to work 10-20 hours per week while completing degree.

- Contribute to advancement of company's overall Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability strategy
- Support the development of the annual ESG report and supporting materials
- Track current and emerging global ESG regulations, standards, and reporting frameworks
- Conduct benchmarking and research on ESG topic areas and trends, providing recommendations when appropriate
- Support engagements with various ESG raters and rankers (e.g. Sustainalytics, MSCI, ISS, etc.)
- Support preparation of written responses to various ESG information requests from stakeholders (customers, investors, etc.)
- Prepare presentation decks to support key meetings
- Assist with data collection and analysis and updates to dashboards
- Provide overall administrative support to the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability team
- Perform other duties as assigned
What your background should look like
Currently enrolled in undergraduate school with an upcoming completion of a bachelor's degree. Must be able to work 10-20 hours per week while completing degree.
- Passion for corporate responsibility & sustainability.
- Preferred training and coursework in Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility or related field through a four-year bachelor's degree program.
- Previous internship experience or experience in a corporate environment preferred.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Understanding of corporate responsibility & sustainability best practice and trends.
- Ability to facilitate a positive work environment.
- Effective at both oral and written communication; good presentation skills.
- Strong time management skills and problem-solving ability.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with various parties of different subject areas.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Demonstrated ability to follow a project plan.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office suite of products.
- Strong aptitude to create, edit, and manage complex data files.
- Strong aptitude with technology tools and applications.
