ETL & Data Engineer

ETL Development (Event and/or Batch driven), JIRA, Confluence Database design and modelling (multidimensional, 3NF, data vault) SQL, Python, Oracle, Postgres, Code Generation, pyTest.

- Experience working with subject matter and technical experts

- Significant experience in programming and application design in relevant technology in a large complex IT landscape.

- Significant experience in the development and support of large-scale corporate applications, compliance with structured (waterfall or agile) development processes.

- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of working with relevant technology and applications such as Java, BPM, Lotus Notes, KoFax etc.

- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.

- Highly developed 'first principles' problem-solving skills, combined with a curious and creative mind-set.

"- Developing SQL packages, procedures and functions Data Development using Python

- DevOps skills: CI/CD in Jenkins, GitHub

- Troubleshooting, bug fixing, debugging experience

- Scripting in Bash (Desirable)

- Understanding of insurance business, ABS Knowledge (Desirable)

- Experience in use of containerized environments for development (Desirable)

- Kafka Knowledge (near real time data integration)(Desirable)

- 3-5 years of experience with PostGres or Oracle and SQL Programming

- Python scripting and development Worked in Agile methodology

- Significant experience in one or more of the following categories;
