Pratt & Whitney's Digital Technology team is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented Talend developer to join the Digital Technology Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team. The individual will be responsible for designing, building, implementing, and maintaining data processing pipelines for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from/to a variety of data sources such as SAP ECC, SAP APO, Servegistics etc. to/from Kinaxis Rapid Response using Talend.
The Talend Developer will collaborate with business application teams, architects, technical teams, external service providers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements to technical specifications and create technical design, develop, and test using ETL processes. The candidate will be responsible for a timely design and delivery of high-quality data transfer, data integration services, and transformation services based on project requirements using Talend 8.0.1
This position requires hands-on experience in advanced planning tool, integration knowledge with SAP and non-SAP transactional systems. The candidate will be an integral team member for large- and small-scale advanced planning tool implementations as well as supporting existing SAP and Kinaxis solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement ETL solutions using Talend 8.0.1, collaborating with key stakeholders as needed.
- Develop ETL jobs using Talend 8.0.1
- Provide expertise in Talend Administrator Center (TAC) server administration.
- Recommend infrastructure design - understanding of underlying hardware and software that supports Database and Talend.
- Expert ability to provide functional and technical specifications, as well as other required documentation.
- Develop artifacts such as flow charts, process flow diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
- Ensure database compliance and security both on-prem and on cloud.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation for ongoing maintenance.
- Provide application design guidance and consultation, based on a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
- Determines, documents, and implements the most efficient and cost-effective solution.
- Advise business partners on intended and optimal use of the systems and assist with process development.
- Ensure logic and design is in alignment with the core architecture of the systems / applications.
- Analyze highly complex business requirements and problems to ensure logic and design is in alignment with the core architecture of the systems / applications.
- Analyze existing product software and recommends modifications which enhance operating capacity and meet business requirements.
- Assist in managing expectations with both business and IT stakeholders regarding functionality, scope, and deliverables.
Experience/Required Qualifications:
- Must have deep exposure to Data Integration with Talend's products. Must be proficient with Data Integration, development and administration
- Strong understanding of integration design patterns & best practices
- Experience in designing and building integrations between multiple on-premises and/or cloud-hosted systems
- Data Migration and administer ETL jobs to extract, migrate data from multiple data source and load into data mart
- Integrate data from different data source like SAP databases, CSV, XML, Queues.
- Integrate data for batch with near real-time, real-time latency
- Write complex data transformation logic
- Proactively monitor Job performance and tune them as needed. Make data integration jobs fault tolerant
- Expert-level knowledge and implementation experience in Data Integration, Data Management, Data Architecture (Good to have experience in Data Quality, Data Governance)
- Experience in using TAC (Talend Administration Center) for monitoring, deployment, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field with 10 years' experience. OR a Masters degree with 7+ years of related experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to government contractual requirements.
- Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years using Talend and developing and implementing Talend tools and technologies, including Version 6.5 or greater.
- Five (5) years' experience within the last seven (7) years in architecting and implementing ETL processes.
- Two (2) years' experience within the last five (5) years working with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Talend Data Catalog Certificate
- Talend Data Integration Certificate
- Experience in Kinaxis Rapid Response as well other advanced planning tools
- Technical experience and a working knowledge in SAP ECC and APO is a highly desired skill-set (SIOP, Supply Chain Control Tower, Demand, Inventory, Response & Supply)
- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA.
- Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment is highly desirable.
