ETL Tester

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented ETL Tester to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test cases for ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand data requirements and specifications.
• Perform data profiling and validation to check data quality across various sources.
• Identify, report, and track defects or issues in the ETL processes and data outputs.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after updates or changes.
• Monitor ETL jobs and analyze logs to detect failures or anomalies in data processing.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

• Bachelore's in Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an ETL Tester or similar role in data testing.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and validation.
• Must have hands-On experience backend /front end enterprise applications.
• Must have SQL or PL/SQL knowledge using Oracle.
• Must have Agile life cycle experience.
• Must have knowledge on Web UI testing and workflows.
• Must have Power BI/Report testing experience.
• Must have financial reports knowledge
• Automation knowledge will be an advantage.
• Good to have experience using Hadoop (Hive/Impala)/Spark SQL.
• Good to have hands on experience with writing complex Spark queries for HDFS/Parquet files validation
• Data bricks/synapse hands knowledge will be an advantage.
