This position is responsible for maintaining and executing all customer pricing including the scheduled reviews, based upon the processes determined by the Functional Leader / Business Controller and contributes to the profitable management of all ESAT customers and European Special Markets business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pricing Review Execution:
- Customer pricing reviews according to processes set by Functional Leader(s) / Business Controller as per schedule.
- Identifies items or ranges with large cost fluctuations to drive discussions with suppliers and customers.
- Commercial Support to Functional Leaders(s) / Business Controller:
- Customer Rebate Calculations and Trackers
- Product switching opportunities to support EMEA Supplier Relationship Manager
- Chargeback Management: Works with local teams when required to centralise, optimise or audit claims from vendors, such as Chargebacks or Service Fee calculations.
- Tender support: Take an active part in Tender/RFP discussions and Support for the process including data review, pricing and offer structure
- Supplier / Trend Reporting & Analytics: Analyse the business when required in order to drive data based decision making
- Work closely with the EMEA Data Analyst to drive pricing process improvements.
- Conducts timely reviews of contract pricing against cost changes to minimise risk of reduced returns from the fixed price terms.
- Ensures alignment between pricing quoted and chargeback being claimed for each customer group.
- Conducts monthly review of pricing paid by each customer to the terms of their contract to ensure the correct terms are in place.
- Work closely with the EMEA Business Controller to provide timely support to the ESAT Team for Customer Meetings on Insights & Opportunities, Rebate Calculations and Supporting Information for switching projects (Eg. Edge Endo)
- Reviews and evolves pricing structures to try to drive improved GP gains for Henry Schein from this sector of the business
- Review Product switching opportunities for all new HSB product ranges and Exclusives that we are able to offer across multiple countries
The type of person we’re looking for:
- Has a prior experience with pricing within the Dental sector or other health care sector an advantage.
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience required
- Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
- Strong critical thinking, good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
- Has strong business acumen and integrity.
- Can work to deadlines autonomously when required.
- A very good team player
- Extensive experience in pricing, data application and reporting
- Expert use of excel, with good attention to detail.
Strong awareness of the dental industry, products and suppliers is desirable
