EUMDR Configuration Analyst 1
Job Description
Responsible for ensuring that product definition information and changes to that information are identified, approved, verified, and recorded in enough detail to produce and support the product throughout its lifecycle. Works cross-functionally to facilitate the change management process according to established procedures and Configuration Management principles. Provides Matrix user support and guidance, with regard to the change process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Facilitates the change process.
• Reviews product structure and information for accuracy.
• Reviews engineering change requests to ensure documentation is clear and valid, with enough detail to effectively initiate and drive the change.
• Ensures that requests conform to CM principles and department procedures / requirements.
• Analyzes the impact of changes to products and their associated documentation and components.
• Reviews changes to determine interchangeability, and actions appropriately.
Facilitates process and PLM system training classes for all users of the change process.
• Maintains training material to ensure that material reflects current processes.
• Maintains the change process documentation to ensure that documentation reflects current policies, procedures, and business practices.
• Responsible for describing the change process to satisfy internal and external audits.
Location: Memphis, TN
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or IT
Licenses/Certifications: CMII, CMPIC, or other CM certification preferred
Experience:
• Candidates must have 1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment with a background in Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, or IT related field.
• Must have prior experience reviewing engineering changes (drawings, procedures, product structure) with an aptitude for detail.
In addition the candidate must have the following:
• Knowledge of Configuration Management principles and tools
• Prior experience using a PLM system; Matrix preferred
• Prior experience using an ERP system; SAP preferred
