POSITION SUMMARY:
The Account Sales Manager EV - East will be responsible for leading sales efforts on the east coast. The primary focus for this sales role is driving sales and executing LG strategic EV sales strategies. You will need to have a successful track record and relevant experience selling hardware/software to a variety of Enterprise customers. If you have experience selling EV Charging stations and existing relationships in the industry that would be beneficial. In addition, you will be working cross functionally with LG business units, value added resellers, electrical contractors, and distributors. You will need to be able to thrive in a fast- paced sales environment, be creative, independent, focused and an excellent problem solver. The role requires a strong understanding of the EV charging industry, a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve overall business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for EV chargers, aligning with the company's overall goals and sales objectives.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the EV charging industry.
- Prospect and develop new accounts with efficiency - capable of scheduling and evaluating targeted market potential.
- Enthusiasm for vehicle electrification with a basic understanding of today's electric vehicle charging landscape and have a strong understanding of multiple verticals.
- Stay up to date with government and utility incentives, industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Develop strong product knowledge - ability to learn and understand all product offerings.
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics, and regularly report on progress to management.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and events to promote the company's EV charger products and establish industry thought leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, such as engineering, operations, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience is required in EV Charging related industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience is required in Energy related field for Sales and Business development.
- Proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets, preferably in the EV charging industry or a related field.
- Be comfortable with selling into multi-stakeholder sales scenarios and engaging with C-suite level down.
- Strong understanding of the EV charging industry, including knowledge of various charging technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend conferences, and visit project sites.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
