Job Description
California Lifestyle Foundation, a nonprofit fundraising firm based in Fairfield, has recently made plans to expand its fundraising event team. California Lifestyle Foundationās mission is to help its charity partners make a massive impact on the local community by bringing more awareness to their core mission and increasing their donations through customized events. To keep up with demand, California Lifestyle Foundation has an opening for an outgoing, career-motivated individual to fill their Event Assistant position IMMEDIATELY.
Event Assistant Responsibilities:
- Educate community members on their charity partnersā core missionĀ
- Attend daily in-office meetings to discuss and plan upcoming fundraising events
- Organize and assist with all fundraising activities
- Work collaboratively and efficiently with fellow team members to increase awareness
- Maintain all donation records throughout the course of each eventĀ
- Assist with training new associates on policies and proceduresĀ
Event Assistant Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in philanthropy, community outreach, events or promotionsĀ
- Strong desire to work with nonprofit organizations
- Passion for giving back to the community and volunteering
- Ability to public speak and present our mission with confidence and professionalism
- Demonstrate the ability to use persuasive communication, leadership, and relationship-building
- Sales experience preferredĀ
