About This Job
As a Cannabis Events Coordinator at Dutchie, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating dynamic cannabis events. Your responsibilities will include organizing trade shows, conferences, and promotional activities within the cannabis industry. Collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and vendors, you will develop event concepts and strategies that align with our brand and target audience. Your keen organizational skills will be essential as you manage event logistics, budgets, and contracts. Additionally, you will be responsible for working with marketing to create event marketing materials, overseeing on-site setup, and ensuring the smooth operation of events. The ideal candidate will possess event planning experience, strong communication skills, knowledge of the cannabis industry, and a passion for promoting responsible cannabis use. What You'll Do...
- Plan and coordinate Dutchie events, including trade shows, conferences, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure the successful execution of events.
- Develop event concepts, themes, and strategies that align with the company's brand and target audience.
- Adhere to event budgets and track expenses.
- Coordinate event logistics, such as venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, transportation, and accommodations.
- Handle event registrations, attendee communication, and provide necessary information before, during, and after the events.
- Coordinate event marketing materials, including invitations, signage, promotional items, and digital assets.
- Coordinate on-site event setup, including booth design, equipment placement, and staging.
- Oversee high profile event operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the events.
- Measure event success and gather feedback to continuously improve future events
What You Bring...
- Previous experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in the cannabis industry or related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of the cannabis industry, including regulations, trends, and market dynamics.
- Creativity and ability to develop unique event concepts and experiences.
- Budget management skills and the ability to negotiate contracts and pricing..
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in event planning and execution.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for events.
- Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to promoting responsible and compliant cannabis use.
You’ll Get…
Cash compensation range: $55,000-75,000
