Job Description
The Event Coordinator position is expected to manage the entire event process in order to ensure that all events run smoothly from beginning to end.
Specifically, the Event Coordinator is responsible for planning and organizing NOV tradeshows (both Corporate, multi-Segment and single-Segment), customer events, and industry conferences. In addition, the Event Coordinator must be able to manage costs within the guidelines of the budget. Examples of tasks required by the Event Coordinator include reserving venue or booth space, collaborating with various business units, managing the logistics between business units, and negotiating/communicating with event organizers or outside vendors.
In addition, the Event Coordinator is expected to be onsite for all corporate tradeshows and appointed events to oversee installation, placement of equipment, and overall logistics during the tradeshow/event.
This position will potentially require some travel, both domestic and international.

Previous experience in event planning is preferred and oil and gas industry experience is a plus.
