POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you a highly motivated individual with a passion for event planning? The International Channel Marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic Events Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating tradeshows and organizing company events. You will have exceptional organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities: As the International Events Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating in the planning and execution of all aspects of tradeshows and company events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, decor, and logistics.
- Researching and identifying successful event opportunities.
- Collecting required documentation, processing and tracking event payments.
- Collaborating in managing event budgets and ensuring all expenses are accounted for.
- Keeping track of goodie stock and replenishing as needed.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors.
- Attending events and providing on-site support when and if needed.
- Conducting post-event evaluations and reporting on event success and areas for improvement.
Qualifications: We are looking for a candidate who has:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Extraordinary attention to detail.
- At least 1 year of experience in coordinating events in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Some international travel may be required.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset.
