Event Coordinator

K1 is seeking an Event Coordinator to oversee multiple executive conferences for our office in Manhattan Beach, CA. In this role you will be responsible for helping create first class events that are attended by over 1,000 executives worldwide. Our perfect candidate will have exceptional communication and customer service skills. This candidate will be detail oriented, can multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with executing multi-day conferences from inception to close of event
• Maintain partnerships with vendors and external partners on behalf of K1
• Operational management of all event logistics
• Assist in developing, execution and management of databases
• Coordinate travel arrangements, preparation of materials, itineraries and/or documentation
• Manage guest communication
• Engagement with hundreds of internal, domestic and international executives
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• First generation college students are encouraged to apply
• Prior hospitality experience is a plus
• Experience with Banquet Event Orders and Audio-Visual Contracts is recommended
• Ability to brainstorm and implement event concepts and themes
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Suite is a plus
• Ability to travel upwards of 6 times a year to various event locations
