The Opportunity:

FE International is looking for an Event Manager to help us build out our Marketing team.
We are growing at an exceptional rate and are seeking someone to help us improve on and build upon existing systems. The Event Manager is a full-time position for an individual who is motivated and able to organize outstanding and unforgettable events. You will be responsible for every part of event preparations, such as choosing venues, approving menus, developing seating plans, and reporting success through metrics.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the marketing and design teams for event promotional materials and branding;
  • Designing and updating an event website or landing page;
  • Managing event communications, including sending invitations, reminders, and post-event follow-ups;
  • Interfacing with speakers or presenters to cater to their needs and ensure smooth sessions;
  • Finding speaking engagements for the company CEO;
  • Coordinating equipment rentals, from AV equipment to event furniture;
  • Facilitating transportation and lodging arrangements for attendees when necessary;
  • Devising contingency plans for unforeseen challenges, be it weather disturbances, technical glitches, or sudden changes in event dynamics;
  • Generating and disseminating post-event feedback forms to capture attendee insights;
  • Reviewing feedback to enhance subsequent events;
  • Partnering with PR and marketing departments to bolster event promotions, media collaborations, and sponsorship endeavors;
  • Teaming up with Marketing to leverage social media for event publicity and engagement;
  • Continuously updating themselves on the latest trends and best practices in event planning; and
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in event coordination/management in a corporate environment;
  • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills;
  • Experience managing budgets and expense tracking;
  • Advance knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Excel; and
  • Ability to travel to events as needed.

Experience and Education:

  • 2+ yearsโ€™ experience as Event Coordinator;
  • Knowledge of SaaS, E-Commerce, Content and Financial Services helpful; and
  • A bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited university in communications, marketing, events, hospitality, or related discipline

**This candidate must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship**

Salary: $70,000-$100,000 OTE
