Gale is seeking an Event Marketing Coordinator to help develop industry-leading events that increase brand awareness and generate demand. The Coordinator will be responsible for the logistic execution of in-person events and conferences. This role also leads marketing promotions that drive traffic and engagement around shows. Duties also include working closely with stakeholders of the marketing team to connect events to our overarching brand, product, and campaign strategies. A successful Event Marketing Coordinator will blend technical savvy with outstanding organizational skills and creativity to take ownership of multiple events at once across various platforms and market segments!

What you'll do here:

  • Collaborate with members of the marketing team to build and execute trade shows and conferences
  • Meet with stakeholders to understand strategy, and provide input and ideas for creative delivery to increase brand recognition and event leads
  • Plan the scope of the event (IE. time, location, program, cost) for the organization
  • Work with outside vendors to book lodging, meeting space, AV, booth logistics, and all items event-related
  • Implement pre-and post-event communications to customers - Coordinate details with event attendees and host meetings
  • Lead onsite event activities to ensure the happiness of attendees and the organization
  • Review event billings and approve a payment, along with working within a set budget
  • Meet deadlines with efficiency, urgency, and a mind toward customer experience
  • Help plan internal corporate events like the annual sales meeting
  • Give direction to copywriters and designers for event-related collateral
  • Support stakeholders and give mentorship on event-related details
  • Coordinate and lead a high volume of work with a keen eye for detail, a passion for learning, and a spirit of collaboration
  • Supervise the results of your efforts and aim for continuous optimizations and improvement

Skills you will need here:

  • BA in Hospitality, Marketing or other related experience
  • Ability to travel 10-15% (3 - 5 trips per year)
  • Able to meet physical demands associated with essential functions of the role including lifting 50lbs, packing and unpacking event materials, and standing for extended periods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications
  • Proficiency and comfort operating within a variety of software and technologies
  • 2-5 years experience in event planning or project coordination preferred
  • Solid understanding of social platforms and Cvent
  • Experience with design software, project management tools, and content management systems

Base Pay Range

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

$44,200.00 - $70,700.00 USD
