Event Operations Intern

Our 12 week summer internship program is an opportunity for students enrolled in a post-secondary education program to gain hands-on experience in the live event technology industry. This is a paid internship with a 40 hour a week schedule. Interns located near one of our physical locations (Dallas, Pittsburgh, Montreal) will work a hybrid schedule. Interns who are not, will work a completely remote schedule. The program is set to start on May 22,2023 and end on August 11, 2022.

As a Patron Technology intern, you will:

• Take part in our mentorship program: Be paired with an experienced member of our team 
• Participate in weekly intern cohort activities and events (social, team building, training)
• Connect with Senior Leadership: One-on-one conversation with your department head and a Q&A session with our CEO
• Have access to Udemy Business: a world-class learning and development platform offering over 14,000 training courses
• Set goals: Work with your manager to determine what you want to accomplish during the program and receive feedback on your performance

You will have an opportunity to use our suite of integrated event technology and tackle client projects. You will also benefit from continuous opportunities to learn, shine and advance your career through experience and mentorship.

• Assist the team with full event advancement process, booking travel, and maintaining the Events Calendar
• Work with the warehouse team to fulfill requests and prepare hardware for onsite deployments
• Travel onsite to specific event(s) to support the Event Operations Team

• Enrolled in a related post-secondary program 
• Motivated to learn and work in a fast paced environment 
• Must possess a valid ID and be willing to travel

Patron Technology requires all Event Operations employees and contractors who will be representing the company at a client event to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to attending. Exemptions are determined by the event organizer. Employees are not required to be fully vaccinated to be present at an office facility.
