This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Event Project Manager, Life Sciences in India.

This role is centered on delivering high-impact life sciences congresses and event experiences across the APAC region, combining project management expertise with strong operational execution. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end event delivery, from planning and configuration of digital event platforms to onsite execution and post-event analysis. The position requires close coordination with pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of complex, regulated events. You will play a key role in enhancing engagement experiences for HCPs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and approval workflows. The environment is fast-paced, highly client-facing, and travel-intensive, offering exposure to global life sciences stakeholders. This role is ideal for an experienced event professional who thrives in structured, detail-driven, and high-stakes execution environments.

Accountabilities:

You will lead and manage the full lifecycle of life sciences congress and event projects, ensuring smooth execution across digital, hybrid, and onsite formats.

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of congresses, medical events, webinars, advisory boards, and standalone meetings
  • Build and configure event applications using digital platforms to support engagement, lead capture, and meeting workflows
  • Coordinate closely with pharmaceutical clients, KOLs, vendors, and internal teams to ensure flawless event execution
  • Oversee onsite event operations including registration, iPad check-in, lead scanning, and appointment scheduling systems
  • Train field teams, booth staff, and stakeholders on event tools and processes to ensure smooth adoption
  • Ensure speaker readiness and operational readiness for virtual and onsite sessions
  • Manage stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle with clarity and professionalism
  • Handle post-event reporting, analytics, dashboards, and performance insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory approval processes across all events

  • Requirements:

    This role requires strong experience in life sciences event management, stakeholder coordination, and end-to-end project execution in regulated environments.

    • 2+ years of experience in congress, pharma events, or life sciences event project management
    • Strong background in event agencies, PCOs, or pharmaceutical event operations
    • Experience managing KOL engagement, congress planning, and stakeholder coordination
    • Understanding of pharma approval workflows, including medical, legal, and compliance processes
    • Strong technical ability with event tools, CRM systems, or platforms such as Veeva, Cvent, or similar
    • Excellent communication and client-facing skills across global stakeholders
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to adapt in fast-changing event environments
    • Willingness to travel frequently and work onsite during live events
