Event Registration Manager

About the Opportunity
The Event Registration Manager will report to the Director, Events & Digital and will lead all event registration efforts for year-round programs. The manager will partner with the Event Managers and Program leads to develop registration processes with attendee experience at the forefront while implementing best practices to capture the data that will provide insights for future events. The manager will also be responsible for weekly and post event registration reporting. When required the Registration Manager will participate on-site at meetings leading the registration desks.

Core Responsibilities
In this role you will work on:
Event Registration
- Manage all facets of the registration process for assigned events, including, forecasting, creating, and managing registration forms, developing weekly and post event reports.
- Work with marketing and production to develop and print all credentials.
- Support on-site registration as needed.
- Monitor all web registration pages and all related links and in coordination with the data and program managers, maintain CRM updated.
- Support in developing the on-site registration layout and process.
- Supervise registration vendors, temporary staff, and contractors’ pre-event and on-site.
- Responsible for the development, distribution, and monitoring of registration weekly, onsite and post show reports and data analysis.
- Partner with all levels of staff in each department throughout the organization.
Attendee Communications
- In coordination with the membership and marketing teams coordinate attendee communications related to initiative events.
- Draft, review, and coordinate arc of communications leading to, during and post events to ensure cohesive messaging across events.
Minimum Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business training or experience required
- At least 6 years of professional experience in the events field, with at least 1 of those years managing people or managing projects to completion.
- Two or more years of registration experience strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS-Project or similar project management program.
- CRM Experience
- Ability to work in a varying schedule including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, and work on multiple time zones, as necessary.
Compensation & Benefits
Our best estimate of the compensation range for this opportunity is $68 – 73K annually, depending on the experience you bring. This range is based on NYC market rates and may be adjusted if you will be working remotely. We look forward to discussing our compensation pricing strategy, and your expectations, throughout the interview process.
