LEAP leads the world in the development and sale of cloud-based legal practice management software for small law firms on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

We employ more than 1000 people globally, have offices in the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK with more than 12,000 law firms using our software worldwide. We are seeking an Events Specialist to join our highly motivated, high velocity, and highly marketing team.

Scope

The LEAP Marketing Event Specialist reports to the Events Director and will be based out of our Jersey City, NJ office. In this highly visible role, the Event Specialist will be responsible for event planning and execution, working with high-level stakeholders both internally and externally, analysis of event success, and onsite event management. Extreme attention to detail and limited travel is expected for this role. This role will support a complex calendar of national events, regional events, and bar association events.

Responsibilities

  • Events logistics including tradeshows, exhibitions, and sales seminars with pre and post marketing, planning, staffing, and marketing materials/giveaways.
  • Exhibit booth management. This will include engaging with internal and external clients pre-event and during event execution.
  • Coordination of content/assets such as marketing collateral, social media, events, among others.
  • Organize event marketing materials to promote LEAP including partnerships, webinars, trade shows, and more.
  • Inventory management of LEAP Marketing giveaway items, promotional products, and booth displays. Inventory management includes shipping and receiving.
  • Budget and ROI tracking for all events. This will include presenting ROI data to internal stakeholders.
  • Project support for all members of the marketing team where needed.
  • Administrative duties

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years in a similar position.
  • Confidence to take on multiple projects without being micromanaged.
  • Strong attention to details
  • Comfortable working in a small marketing team in a hands-on role.
  • Ability to meet deadlines without supervision.
  • Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft products.
  • Event planning and management capability.

Nice to haves

  • Experience working in the legal industry or with bar associations.
  • An interest in IT/software. Experience with Trello and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Merchandise ordering and inventory management.
  • Self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and being proactive.
