As the Events and Meetings Manager, you'll support the Sales team with coordination of successful events for industry conferences, customer events and internal meetings. You'll manage conference pre and post activities and provide updated activity and opportunity from Salesforce CRM campaigns.

As the Events and Meetings Manager, you'll support the Sales team with coordination of successful events for industry conferences, customer events and internal meetings. You'll manage conference pre and post activities and provide updated activity and opportunity from Salesforce CRM campaigns.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Maintain Salesforce CRM campaigns for all Sales Operations conferences and activities.
- Pursue campaign activity with individual customer account owner to ensure visible ROI
- Ownership of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Communication Platform (pre-post event HTML communication)
- Partner with customer account owner and Strategic Sales Analysis Teamon development of customer profiles to include quality data and meeting objectives
- Demonstrates attention to detail
- Identifies and resolves problems
- Writes clearly and informatively. Edits work for spelling and grammar
- Presents organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience.
- Utilizes variety of interpersonal styles and communication methods to effectively adapt to new work structures, processes, or cultures
- Demonstrates follow-up skills
- Provides timely and professional support to all internal/external customers and vendors.
- Prioritizes regular workload, special tasks and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established timelines
- Works with minimal supervision
- Establishes and maintains effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5 or more years of event planning experience in an agency or corporate setting
- Knowledge of typography, proofreading, layout, document formatting, desktop publishing, page layout and publication styles
- Knowledge of various software packages such as InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Flash, PowerPoint and Excel
It'd be great if you also have:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related area
- Demonstrates ability to create complex formulas in MS Excel; create queries in company software applications
