Job Description
I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
The Event Coordinator is responsible for helping to plan, coordinate and execute on a variety of events for the Company and specifically the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. This position will provide support across the event marketing team as needed.
II. Essential Job Functions | Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results

• Plan talent and chef logistics including travel, lodging, weekend schedules
• Execute a variety email campaigns, marketing and promotional assets
• Manage social media channels and coordinate logistics surrounding ticket sales
• Researching venues, caterers, merchandise options, etc
• Manage invitation and check in process and other onsite event needs
• Support event marketing team with contracts, budgets, research, records and databases
• Coordinate logistical aspects of events, including travel, accommodations, transportation when needed

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing or related field or equivalent training and/or experience
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in events. Culinary events are a plus
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Effective project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and travel when needed
• Work collaboratively and effectively as a team member
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must have the ability to multitask, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay Range
Hourly: $16.83 - $24.04
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
