Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, a division of Oak View Group is looking to hire anEvent Lead Chef at Ensemble Arts Pihiladelphia.TheEvent Lead Chefis responsible for preparing and finishing all hot and cold foods in accordance with event recipes & standards.
Types of events that can be expected:
• Cocktail receptions, seated dinner
• Breakfast & lunch buffets
• Private dining
• Weddings, galas and other large events
This role pays an hourly wage of $30 to $35.

EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.Responsibilities:
• Ability to work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner in a high-pressure environment
• Have experience on multiple stations in the kitchen
• Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meets Events standards
• Must have excellent knife skills and proficiency in all aspects of cooking
• Assists the Culinary Management team with food preparation as assigned
• Maintains a working knowledge of food preparation for standard menu items
• Maintains a clean work environment, including floors and passages
• Cleans kitchen and equipment as assigned by the Culinary Management team
• Assists in keeping all food storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, etc. clean and organized.
• Assisting the unloading of deliveries
• Manage a team of 15+ or more kitchen assistances
• Work closely with event captain to create a positive client experience
• Ensure sanitation standards meet city compliance
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
• Assist with set-up and cleaning operational areasQualifications:
• Professional work ethic
• 2-3 years of related cook experience
• Prepare and execute key components of dishes while ensuring quality and accuracy
• Effective communication skills and ability to take direction from supervisors
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when required
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and proactively solve issues
