Events Manager

The Events Manager assists with planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows and customer (channel and end user) related events. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, including conferences, trade shows, corporate events, and internal employee events. This position requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support with for both internal and external events including marketing, operational, tactical, and analytical support
• Coordinate internal processes and procedures for department approvals, budget management, project management and vendor management.
• Execute event plans, including budgets, timelines, and event specifications
• Work with event team and internal partners to determine objectives and requirements
• Coordinates with vendors and suppliers to ensure all event details are in place
• Manage event registration and attendee communications
• Collaborate with marketing team to execute and implement event marketing strategies
• Conduct post-event evaluations
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in event management
• Assists in managing the brand store
• Reviews and analyzes event metrics, maintains master annual event schedule/calendar and miscellaneous event plans and reporting
• Assists department with PR/PO requests, vendor invoice processing, Pcard, JIRA requirements, and ARB and SPRAT processing

Requirements:

• 4 Year Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of event planning and management experience
• May require travel up to 20%, provides onsite event support as needed
• Excellent communication, collaboration and consensus-building skills – ability to work with cross-functional teams and executive leadership

This position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a flexible, hybrid work schedule

The pay range is $87,700 - $118,700.  The anticipated base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
