We are actively seeking a solutions-oriented Events Manager to join our team. You will be directly responsible for managing the execution of our events. REQUIREMENTS

• Manage the participation and execution of events
• Recommend and execute campaigns to promote events with other members of the marketing team
• Maintain a calendar of events updated constantly
• Craft campaigns and messages to engage with event attendees before, during and after the event
• Maintain and create inventory and manage ordering of materials for the events
• Help coordinate events with other departments and ensure excellent participation
• Work with sponsors and event organizers to get the best results for Leap
• Write creative copy and produce materials needed for events
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to help marketing meet the goals
• Identify new ideas and creative ways to connect events to goals of marketing
• Be the evangelist for the company and the marketing department for both internal and external events

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience managing events
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-sensitive environment
• Proficiency with event management software
