Required Purchasing competencies (min 2 areas)

• Mechanical (FC)

o Sheet metal (K2, K3) (Knowledge of Soft & Hard stamping, High Speed Stamping, Sheet Metal tooling knowledge), Fine blanking, Surface treatment - Plating, Heat treatment,

o Plastic (P1) - Thermoset & Thermoplastic parts, Detailed knowledge on these commodities, processes, key suppliers, cost structure

o Insulators/Labels (RM, suppliers)

o Al castings, extrusion, Non-Ferrous Forgings, castings

o Raw material - Steel, Plastic

o Experience in Should costing, Digitisation

o ERP experience in SAP, Oracle

Negotiation with supplier to drive YOY productivity, Drive QVE & Alternate sourcing projects. Contract management with the supplier & ensure smooth supply of quality parts with right qty as per scheduled time. Ensure data & system compliance. Drive supplier improvement projects. Drive Supplier consolidation projects.
