We are currently seeking a EVMS Specialist/Project Manager to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with PM to plan/manage specific tasks throughout program lifecycle, defining all project specific activities and those responsible for activities as part of EVMS reporting activities.
• Monitors project progress for performance measurement including initial planning and task scope development, work progress indicators, resource tracking/allocation, time phase management of work and budget across program schedule.
• Organizes activities at control account level
• Understands project schedule critical path principles, basic estimating approaches, assignment of budgets to specific activities, incorporation of deliverables and milestones, resource allocation management, budget to actual cost accounting and work authorization processes at the control level. Understands elements of cost accounting system including primary direct cost elements, cost accrual methods including direct and indirect cost management methods throughout the lifecycle of a project.
• Understands management of subcontractors to total project cost.
• Has full understanding of the accounting system including elements of cost and primary direct cost elements, cost accrual methods, including direct and indirect cost management methods.
• Understands different methods for calculating EAC throughout the life-cycle of a project and contribution of subcontractors to project cost.

Required Qualifications:

• B.A or B.S. in Accounting, Business, Computer Science
• Residency Requirements- Applicants selected will be subject to a Public Trust background security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information. Must be a US Citizen.
• Minimum 5 years experience managing all facets of EVMS project management and reporting in a Federal agency environment.
• In accordance with Executive Order 14042, a candidate for this role must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8, 2021 or their start date, whichever is later, subject to the provisions and exceptions of EO 14042 and applicable law.

Required Certifications/Skills:

• PMP Certification
• ITIL Certification
