As Sales Leader, you will provide leadership to your team to shape and develop operational plans to meet business needs. You will use your business understanding to develop successful market strategies for execution. You will deliver results for key industry players and challenges through innovation, strategic solutions and building relationships.
As a Sales Leader on our Drilling Services Team, you will be responsible for:
- Create and maintain Account Plans for identified customers and targets and regularly produce progress reports on same
- Create and maintain Sales Plans by drilling basin.
- Actively seek out new accounts, enroll stakeholders
- Promote sales excellence throughout organization by applying structured sales methodology (i.e. Miller Heimann)
- Ensure all designated potential clients are kept informed of our products and performance
- Provide quotes for sales and rental and negotiate contracts
- Create sales and marketing material that quantifies product value statement
- Promote the company and products through industry events, social media and networking
- Keep track of competitor and client activity and report results on designated schedule
- Keep up to date with drilling trends and emerging basins to see potential markets for current technology portfolio and opportunities for future technology development
- Coach and Manage small team of sales staff

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a related Bachelor's Degree or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and professional experience
- Have 5 years of experience in business to business sales
- Show expertise in a Commercial or Sales role, with an emphasis on customer interface and relationship building
- Demonstrate experience of leading by influence
- Have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
- Show good, general technical knowledge of energy technology products and services, alongside customer needs and requirements
- Have experience in developing sales strategy and proactively growing business
- Be able to travel up to 50% of the (some international travel may be required)
- Ability to lead interactions at the decision-making levels at customers
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively use MS Office products
- Ability to effectively seek out and apply data in support of sales process
- Requires flexible working hours, including attending occasional customer events/socials outside of core business hours
