Exceptions Specialist

Job Description

If you have a desire to start a career in the banking industry, this position is a great start for you. We will train you in exception processing and balancing.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Verifying payee name and customer signatures in an automated system.
• Reviewing checks and other transactions as assigned in an automated system.
• Following specific, written procedures to post transactions to customer accounts.
• Contacting customers to verify questionable transactions.

This is an entry level position in Deposit Services. You will work independently, in a quiet office setting, with a casual dress code.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals with positive attitudes and a desire to learn bank operations.

Preferred skills are:

High School diploma or equivalent

Basic computer skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy

Must be punctual, organized, and have excellent time-management skills
