Enterprise Workplace Products (EWP) is responsible for engineering, developing, and supporting modern enterprise-wide solutions. We seek developers and engineers who are passionate about solving production problems through teamwork and innovation, while leveraging development and engineering best practices. In this role you will be part of an engineering team orchestrating a 300K+ mailbox hybrid Exchange platform. The role requires a messaging SME to focus on activities related to mergers & acquisitions as well as delivering automation for repetitive tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
- Proven track record in the delivery of technology service, automation and platform strategy, advancing the business and technology products, roadmaps and disciplines
- Significant contribution to development and implementation of technology, strategy and policy to drive business value enabled by expert knowledge of enterprise technology architecture principles and software development practices and tools.
- Ability to leverage analytics, usage patterns and telemetry to understand, troubleshoot and resolve issues and build proactive measures to mitigate future issues
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline
- 6+ years' experience with enterprise level deployments of Exchange 2013-2019, Exchange Online Hybrid deployments
- Experience in M365 tenant migrations at an enterprise scale
- Experience in automating administrative tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages
- Have a track record of delivering automation for repetitive tasks
- Extensive knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, and managing identity in a hybrid environment
- Detailed knowledge of Email Security
- Experience of other mail systems and scripting languages.
- Experience of Microsoft Identity Manager
- Skills such as scripting, automation and SMTP (Linux, Send Mail, Postfix) are also desirable
