Strategic Executive and Employee Communications
Come join the growing Executive and Employee Communications team at Fastly. Working closely with the VP, Executive and Employee Communications, you will have an opportunity to shape communications at the company. You will play a critical role in building and executing a strategic executive and employee communications plan. You will work with C-Suite executives on building their executive platform. This includes supporting the new Chief People Officer and People team to drive engagement across the business. You will leverage a wide variety of mediums and platforms from all hands and newsletters to keynotes. Working across teams to integrate and align communication will be critical.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with the People team to design and execute a strategic employee communications program.
- Collaborating with executive teams across the organization to identify the best outlets for business critical information.
- Deliver a clear and unified voice on the corporate mission, employee experience, and customer experience
- Identify and execute creative ways to render the corporate message in a clear and compelling way with executives, employees, and customers.
What We're Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
- BA in communications, journalism, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in executive communications, employee communications, or equivalent field
- Experience advising C-Suite executives on communications strategy and execution on a variety of platforms
- Strong organizational skills, highly collaborative, self-driven, and detail oriented
- Creative thinker who can translate both technology and business processes into compelling, actionable stories for a variety of audiences (internal and external)
- Exceptional storytelling skills that can be applied to a wide variety of media including written, video, social media
- Passionate collaborator who loves to brainstorm and leans into new challenges and opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Suite and or other design software
- Strong powerpoint design skills
- Familiarity with employee communications tools and SaaS platforms
- Experience in working in a highly agile, fast-paced environment
- Background in executive coaching or presentation skills
Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements
- The team is based out of Fastly’s San Francisco Headquarters, but candidates near the Denver and New York offices should apply. Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.
This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $132,060 to $194,210.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
