Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Architect who can work cross technologies and industries and is able to apply technology to resolve a business need.

We expect you to have multiple years of consulting experience in both business development and services delivery. You must have several years of experience in technical leadership positions in project delivery and have a wide understanding of different architectural patterns.

We expect you to be dedicated to work for our clients’ success and to dear bringing new innovative ideas forth. You have experience in Agile delivery and have strong problem solving skills.

As a Senior IT Architect you are responsible of the technical solution and leading the technical delivery team together with Project Managers. You will maintain the client relationship and be the focal point for technical and architectural matters.

Depending on your background you may have experience of:

• Enterprise architecture and application architecture patterns
• Developing architectural work products (design documents etc)
• Agile development and modern development tools
• Hands-on development and technical problem solving
• Applying methodological approach for solution design

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 10 years in technical roles including lead developer infrastructure engineer and/or technical architect;
– O/S Technologies: Windows AIX Linux (Solaris an asset);
– Key system software knowledge: SQL-based databases transaction processing software (e.g. MQ Series) file transfer utilities (e.g. Tumbleweed Sterling) scheduling utilities load balancing software (e.g. Radware).

Ability to interact at a technical and executive level within IBM and with the client;
– Deep knowledge of application design and patterns;
– Deep understanding of infrastructure components and design including data replication and high availability;
– Experience in developing architecture patterns with both custom and COTS applications;
– Knowledgeable on payments systems would be an asset;
– Understands limitations and advantages of cloud environment;
– Develop understanding of key operations and data flows in payments processing
