Job Description

About GameChanger:

We believe in the life-changing impact youth sports have on and off the field because they encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence—important life lessons that have the power to propel our youth toward meaningful futures. We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist. By building the first and best place to experience the youth sports moments important to our community, we are helping families elevate the next generation through youth sports.

So if you love sports and their community-building potential, or building cool products is your sport, GameChanger is the team for you. We are a remote-first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, and we are solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today.

The Position:

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for acting as a gatekeeper to our President, supporting their schedule and calendars, group meeting management, expenses, travel and other coordinating activities. You will also serve the office space as a receptionist responsible for greeting guests and acting as a switch board for inbound communications to the office. This role is based out of our New York office and will report to our President.

What You'll Do:

  • Empower our President by optimizing their workflow in respect to calendar management, travel coordination, group meeting management and expenses (all with a keen eye to detail and exceptional organizational skills).
  • Research, prioritize and problem solve incoming issues and concerns on behalf of the President using sound judgment and decision making.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, greet guests upon arrival to our office, receive mail and deliveries.
  • Provide support in planning, coordinating, preparing materials, and overseeing execution of leadership meetings as well as company offsites and events.
  • Work both autonomously and collaboratively across teams, always with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Partner with the Chief of Staff to develop presentations, communications, and materials for internal and external audiences including employees, board members, partners, vendors, etc.

Who You Are:

  • You have stellar customer service skills as we ensure our customers (fellow employees) have everything they need to be successful.
  • You are excited to amplify our culture within our space.
  • You have demonstrated experience with problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • You are someone who has a strong attention to detail with superior organizational skills.
  • You are able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in an Executive Assistant, Executive Business Partner, or Assistant to Chief of Staff role is preferred.

Perks:

  • Work from our well-furnished, modern office in NYC's FiDi.
  • Unlimited vacation policy.
  • Technology stipend - $4,000 every 2 years to purchase new technology.
  • Full health benefits - medical, dental, vision, prescription, FSA/HRA., and coverage for family/dependents.
  • Life insurance - basic life, supplemental life, and dependent life.
  • Disability leave - short-term disability and long-term disability.
  • Retirement savings - 401K plan offered through Vanguard, with a company match.
  • Generous parental leave.
  • DICK'S Sporting Goods Teammate Discount.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

The target salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $130,000. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
