Job Description

With over 40 years of success, 3 Day Blinds has become the leading national retailer and manufacturer of quality custom made blinds, shades, draperies and shutters. We help transform our client's homes and workplaces by offering a wide variety of products that add beauty and comfort to every space. It takes a talented group of individuals to do what we do, and we do it together as One Team. We strive to create a culture of learning and opportunity, and most importantly, an environment where you can feel passionate and connected to your work every day.

A little bit about you:

You take that same pride in all the work you do. Whether finalizing a presentation for the board or filling in down at the reception desk, you know it all matters. When it comes to malfunctioning office equipment, you’re resourceful, quick to see it through to resolution. You remember food allergies, restaurant preferences and always add that personal touch to anyone you’re interacting with. But you’re no pushover- you know how to be a kind and effective gatekeeper and manage your executive’s most valuable resource wisely, their time.

What your day will look like:

You’ll be supporting our CEO, EVP, and other Sr. Leaders, and since no two days look alike, neither will yours. You’ll switch gears seamlessly between the types of activities you’re doing and people you’re interacting with. Some typical tasks include:

  • Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments, ensuring organization and prioritization
  • Arrange on and off-site events and business travel
  • Work closely and effectively with your executives to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities
  • Anticipate future needs and deadlines for your executives
  • Organize, prioritize and multi-task a variety of assignments
  • Keep your executives well informed of any upcoming commitments and responsibilities
  • Anticipate future needs and deadlines. But you knew that already, didn’t you?
  • Manage conference logistics including scheduling, managing meeting resources (meeting rooms, gifts/awards, meals, hotels, activities)
  • Perform general clerical duties to include photocopying, emailing, mail, filing, etc.

How you know you’ll be successful (AKA the qualifications):

  • 5+ years’ experience supporting Sr. level teams
  • Tech savvy and highly proficient with the MS Office Suite, especially strong Power Point skills
  • Embody all the traits of a fully realized support professional:
    • Strong sense of urgency and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
    • Handle confidential matters with excellent judgment and integrity
    • Excellent planning skills
    • Successfully manages multiple assignments (multi-tasking) and changing priorities.
    • Committed to producing accurate, reliable, high-quality work within time constraints.

In return:

  • You'll receive competitive pay and benefits including medical, dental, vision, time off with pay, and a 401(k) plan with a degree of employer matching.
  • We provide short-term and long-term disability benefits at no cost to you! In addition, we offer company-paid life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance with opportunities to elect additional voluntary insurance plans as well.
  • We offer eligible employees six weeks of paid parental leave to bond with a child following birth, adoption, or foster placement.
  • Enjoy amazing discounts on our 3 Day Blinds products as well as access to various other exclusive discounts!
  • The flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, with Tuesdays & Wednesdays in-office and other days as needed
