This role will support the Senior Medical Director and Executive Clinical Director of two Clinical Programs at Intermountain Health: Surgical Specialties/Digestive Health & Primary/Preventive Care.
Location: Kem C. Gardner Transformation Center
This shift will work primarily during standard business hours, M-F: 8-5. There may be occasional support and collaboration required earlier (7 am) or after hours (5-7pm) for support of specialized meetings or activities—with advanced notice and agreement. This is a hybrid position, with time in the office and the opportunity to work remotely. The work location for the role is the Kem C. Gardner Transformation Center, in Murray, UT.
Job Description: The Executive Assistant proactively anticipates needs to support a variety of administrative functions for an executive leader or team of executive leaders in a time-sensitive, accurate, and confidential nature using discretion and professionalism. A heavy emphasis will be placed on complex calendar management skills and experience, including demonstrated time management skills, strong negotiation skills, and an understanding of how to prioritize complex requests and initiatives.
Primary responsibilities include partnering with the leader on task management, project coordination, executive calendar, correspondence, travel/expense management, response to inquiries and requests, board and meeting management, and support of system service line needs and priorities.
The Executive Assistant provides advanced support of a technical nature including remote meeting management, facilitation of presentations, management of multimedia needs both by the leader(s) and meeting support, as well as post-meeting support. This caregiver works as a competent member of the administrative team, willingly providing back up support when appropriate, and actively supporting team goals and priorities.
The Executive Assistant partners with their assigned leader(s) or designee and serves as a liaison with other internal and external stakeholders including local boards. Under the direction of the leader(s), caregiver will coordinate special projects and initiatives. Work may be cross functional and involve multiple facilities, sites, and/or service lines/departments. This caregiver will create and modify reports and presentations, track and influence performance metrics, and serves as a thought partner to their assigned leader(s). The Executive Assistant may supervise other administrative caregivers.

Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience supporting a director, multiple managers or functional area
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively without direct supervision
- Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience managing calendars, correspondence, travel/expenses, remote and in-person meetings
- Demonstrated interpersonal verbal and written communication skills including tact, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and professional behavior
- Demonstrated proficient time management, ability to prioritize and flex work to align with business operational priorities
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities without loss of composure
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Experience working in a matrixed healthcare setting
- Leadership experience (e.g., providing training to others on their job duties, coordinating the work of others, coordinating projects, acting as a team lead, and directly supervising others)
- Background in medical, tech, or education is helpful. Project management, business ops, administrative assistant experience
Physical Requirements:
Interact with others requiring employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.Â
