Executive Assistant
Job Description
Geode Capital Management is seeking a bright, dynamic person to join our firm as an Executive Assistant supporting the Chief Operating Officer and a team of compliance and legal professionals. This individual will work closely with the COO assisting him in his day-to-day responsibilities and will join a team of three other administrative professionals.
This is a hybrid work environment opportunity
Responsibilities:
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Calendar and email management
- Expense report management
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets
- Board meeting material preparation
- Obtaining signatures
- Communications with high level executives and board members
- General administrative support to other executives
- Help administrative team back up reception as needed
- Ad hoc projects
Skills You Bring:
Candidate should be a polished self-starter with strong organizational skills, superior communication and people skills, sound judgment and strong attention to detail. Ability to handle several projects at once, meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate should be able work well individually or as part of a team. Must be flexible and available to work overtime.
- 3+ years professional experience working for a senior executive is required
- College Degree preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel & PowerPoint a must
- Experience using OneDrive
- Financial industry and the investment management knowledge a plus
- Standard coverage is 8:00am – 5:00pm with overtime over 40 hours
