As the EA at Rise8, you will: 

  • Act as the point of contact between CEO and employees, clients, and other external partners
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage CEO’s calendar, setting up meetings, and scheduling personal and professional events
  • Prioritize CEO’s tasks for the day and effectively manage CEO’s time to allow for completion of critical items
  • Prioritize CEO’s emails and respond when necessary
  • Make CEO travel and accommodation arrangements, travel with CEO as needed
  • Track CEO expenses and prepare expense reports
  • Capture social media content for marketing and manage CEO’s social media
  • Act as Tampa office manager, including supplies and other office needs
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Organize and maintain the CEO’s digital files
  • Assist in maintaining various corporate filings for federal, state, and local compliance
  • Errands as needed
  • Special projects as needed

Qualifications 

  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office or Google Workspace.
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders across organizational levels.
  • Maintains discretion and upholds confidentiality Familiarity with popular social media platforms.
  • Enjoys engaging in travel, events, and socializing with diverse individuals.
  • Based in Tampa, Florida, working closely with the CEO.
  • Regular availability for travel Participation in after-hours networking events.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, along with a reliable vehicle and insurance.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Willingness and capability to travel approximately 25% of the time for meetings, conferences, and other business requirements.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, both currently and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field. 
  • Self-starter with a strong ability to operate in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.

Salary 

The annual salary range for this role as it is posted is $45,000 - $65,000 regardless of final candidate location within the United States. The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.

  • Flexible schedule in a 100% distributed workforce 
  • Premium Insurance: We will cover 100% of the employee premium and 80% of the combined dependent premium on our base health plans. We also cover 100% of the premium for employee and dependent Dental and Vision as well as employee premiums for Life and Disability coverage.
  • Retirement: 401k match at 10% gross pay.
  • Paid time off (PTO): 4 weeks combined accrued vacation and sick leave, 10 Federal holidays, your birthday, jury duty, and bereavement.
  • Education & Training: Accrued budget of up to $4,000 per year for classes, travel, events, and materials.
  • Wellness Budget: To encourage and support a well-rounded healthy lifestyle, we cover 50% reimbursement on a variety of wellness activities and products, up to $500 per calendar year.
  • Equipment: We offer a MacBook Pro and multi-port adapter.

All of Rise8’s work in this area is with Federal Government customers that require our employees involved with their projects be U.S. citizens. As such, this role requires U.S. citizenship. If hired, you would also be required to go through a background investigation.
