Executive Assistant, Editorial

Go deeper: We are looking for a proactive thinker to enthusiastically support four of our newsroom executives and several newsroom initiatives. This opportunity will allow you to play an essential role in supporting the newsroom and its executives. 

The details: Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrate a passion for Axios’ mission and have the following skills:

• Enthusiasm for and adeptness at scheduling and calendar management (preferably with Google Suite)
• Experience organizing executive logistics like travel, expense reports, speaking engagements, and team communications
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across multiple teams
• Extreme attention to detail and time management
• Organized record-keeping, including meeting notes and team documentation
• Strong project management skills and a proactive, autonomous approach
• Commitment to using discretion when handling sensitive information
• Media / editorial experience a plus
