Position Overview
The full-time Executive Assistant to the CEO shall be primarily responsible for providing administrative and executive support to the CEO, as well as other event planning, investor relations, schedule management and other administrative duties as needed. The ideal individual will have sizeable experience supporting senior leadership in prior roles, in combination with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain balance among multiple priorities. This position will be based in MCRA’s NYC office.Â
Responsibilities
- The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the CEO’s calendar, internal and external scheduling, and travel.
- Responsible for organization of events, research, preparations for meetings, and creating agendas.
- Act as first line of defense and primary point of contact by handling communications and inquiries on behalf of the CEO while filtering out what is not relevant or important.
- Learn and adapt to new software and technology to create efficiency and transparency.
- Keep the CEO well informed of upcoming commitments, meetings & responsibilities as they approach.
- Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO, his direct reports & outside parties, acting as a “gatekeeper” by providing a “gateway” role for those who need to speak/meet with him.
- Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities at once, a candidate that thrives in time management is ideal.
- Take initiative to understand the intricacies of the business, assisting in strategy, prioritization & planning.
- Manage, compose & prepare confidential correspondence, reports, & other complex documents, proofing & editing of all documents to ensure accuracy & consistency.
- Additional business projects/responsibilities as assigned by the CEO.
- Ensure all work products comply fully with standards, policies, and mission of MCRA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ Years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-Suite level individuals.
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities based off prioritization.
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Flexibility as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings.
