Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team to work as an on-call event staff position. Must have precise knife skills, understand food safety and food terms. The Executive Chef will play a crucial role in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, as well as the ability to manage inventory and coordinate with team members effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Experience as an Executive Chef required.
• Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods.
• Food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation and storage.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking/standing.
• This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)
