Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with a strong background in fine dining and catering and passion for a Southern- Asian Cuisine. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu planning, and food management to ensure the highest quality of food service.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
• Oversee food preparation processes to maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
• Manage inventory effectively, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
• Monitor food costs and waste to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within a fine dining or catering environment.
• Strong culinary skills with expertise in food preparation and presentation.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices and food service operations.
• Excellent menu planning abilities with a creative approach to cuisine.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen management.
• A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
