Executive Communications Advisor
Job Description
Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Executive Communications Advisor, located in Houston, TX or San Ramon, CA through February 4th, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time).
The Executive Communications Advisor will work in a fast-paced global environment to provide communications support to the Strategy organization and Social Investment team, both within Corporate Affairs. Work will focus on strategic direction, issues and reputation management, social investment, stakeholder engagement and change management. A majority of the work will entail internal communications that inform and engage colleagues within corporate affairs and across the enterprise.

Develop strategic communications plans for Strategy organization initiatives and programs and lead execution of these plans under the direction of the Strategy organization leadership team.
Develop strategic communications materials for Social Investment initiatives and programs and lead execution of these plans with Social Investment leadership.
Support stronger use of on-line platforms like Workplace, the intranet and other channels to build fluency and awareness for our Stakeholder Engagement and Issues Management process, Social Investment programs, and focusing on outcomes and opportunities.
Work with technical Strategy organization experts to develop content (case studies, Sustainability Report, fact sheets, guidance documents, presentations and training materials) for internal and external use, including making core content accessible for business unit use.
Develop messaging for Issues Management team.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor´s degree in Communications or similar discipline
At least 3 years related experience
Strong writing, organizational and project management skills.
Proven capability to create clear, effective internal and external communications.
Experience applying data analytics to measure and improve communication effectiveness.
Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines, navigate ambiguity and concurrently manage multiple projects with exceptional results.
Experience in building relationships, aligning resources, and collaborating across teams to deliver excellent business results in a manner consistent with the Chevron Way.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing communications support in the energy industry.
Experience in issues management, sustainability and/or social investment.
Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered.
International Considerations:
Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
