Executive Communications Manager

Description -

HP Workforce Solutions team is looking for an Executive Communications Manager to provide executive engagement and communications support for President and his staff. The primary focus is on customer and partner communication, executive engagement, and internal communications.

Responsibilities

  • Create and drive single narrative that shows the value of Workforce Solutions pan HP.
  • Create a "voice" for HP WS Executives that captures leaders voice and writing style and is consistent throughout all presentations and other types of written and live communications.
  • Proactively solicit the "voice of" various internal audiences, sharing that information with business leaders to drive better, more impactful content and communications.
  • Responsible for the project management of Internal Employee Meetings - including strategy, scheduling, invitations, content development, video production, rehearsals, A/V technical management of meeting, Q&A writing and review, post-event surveys and replay emails.
  • Ability to activate communications quickly and efficiently to ensure that the communications expert is connected to the business.
  • Develop and execute proactive, strategic customer, partner and alliance engagement plan for president and their staff.
  • Develop executive speeches, including speechwriting and speaker prep, customer presentations and internal communiques for executives.
  • Develop, drive, and deliver memos including organizational announcement, earnings, DEI, and special events.
  • Independently develop and implement comprehensive employee, field, channel or executive communications strategies/roadmap, messaging frameworks and timelines spanning multiple quarters
  • Be recognized as an authority and thought leader in executive, field/channel, or employee communications, and contribute to the development and adoption of innovative principles and ideas across HP.
  • Coordinate master editorial calendar and maintain HPWS intranet portal.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership offices on all customer and partner engagement activities.
  • Develop customer/partner/alliance briefing materials, working with sales, and brief key staff to ensure they are prepared for engagements.
  • Support virtually or on-site meetings at customer visits and events
  • Capture, record, and follow-up on action items from customer, partner and alliance meetings using tracking system.
  • Coaching, editing and technical support for other communications and memos within organization.
  • Video writing, production and editing for internal videos.
  • Presentation development and speechwriting for internal speeches, town halls, and annual events.
  • Select, manage, and develop agencies or contractors.
  • Manage functional or department budget.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 10+ years of experience in employee communications, journalism, or marketing.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Superior writing and editing skills - recognized for "near perfection" writing and editing skills and often asked to edit the work of others.
  • Superior listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior organization and program management skills.
  • Ability to link communications plans and activities to business results.
  • Superior knowledge and understanding of employee communications methodologies, tools, and vehicles.
  • Proven experience managing, leading, driving and measuring virtual teams toward common goal.
  • Fluency in local language and English.
  • High levels of tact and diplomacy.
  • Agency and budget management.
  • Consultative skills.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom, including most senior company management.
  • Deep understanding of HP services a plus.
  • Video writing, production and editing for internal videos
