Reporting to the Director, Executive & Equity Compensation, the Executive Compensation Advisor is a subject matter expert who provides advanced level consultation and guidance of executive compensation to human resources professionals, Business Unit Management and Leadership. An Advisor level role will support several significant areas of the business and independently lead major initiatives. Assists in the design, development and/or implementation of executive compensation programs, policies and practices. Works with HR groups and Marketing to create Executive Compensation education training and communication with a drive towards transparency. Ensures all executive compensation programs are compliant with all applicable laws (from a county perspective - local, state, and federal; as global application is needed) and meeting organizational business objectives, and provides support for key components/activities of the executive compensation programs, development and administration.

What You'll Bring:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, related field or equivalent experience. At least 8-10 years of experience in Compensation, Finance, or general HR.
- Strong consultative / customer service skills required both in verbal and written communication. Able to create compelling presentations that tell the story.
- Well-developed analytical, consultative, and communication skills.
- Needs to have flexibility to work in situations where there is no unique, correct answer and be able to apply independent judgment to create solutions outside of established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Strong problem- planning and organizing skills, group facilitation and presentation experience, project management and decision-making approaches.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with managers, employees, HR team, as well as external constituents such as vendors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of a global matrix organizational structure, policies and practices are preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements related to compensation for both federal, provincial and state jurisdictions as applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to create, develop and implement new compensation programs.
- Ability to multitask many duties at same time and prioritize as needed based on deadlines, impact and urgency.
- Experience with the Proxy, CD&A, and other public filings.
- Proficiency with Fidelity Stock Plan Services required.
- Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
- Must be highly proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Certification is highly desirable - Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Equity Professional (CEP) or similar certifications.
Impact You'll Make:
- Provide advice, counsel and ongoing support to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, and Payroll regarding executive compensation issues including internal/external competitiveness and overall governance related to TU's executive compensation philosophy and principles, including competitive pay for performance and rewards.
- Support the preparation of compensation committee materials, including input into the design and development of executive compensation programs and other special compensation projects. Identifies opportunities for enhancement and change in compensation programs, policies and procedures. Acts as change agent to develop, implement and communicate change initiatives. Recommends and implements approved changes to process and policy.
- Develop, maintain and continually expand a good working knowledge of the business strategy of assigned groups to advise on various topics such as compensation trends, role definition, legal and regulatory requirements, and a view of all total rewards in order to provide effective consultation to the business.
- Support drafting and preparation of the Proxy, the CD&A, and other public filings.
- Administer our global stock plans, including processing of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), Performance Share Units (PSUs), and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
- Support administration of the non-qualified deferred compensation (NQDC) plan
- Support M&A activities including due diligence, day 1 close, and integration.
- Work with other HR groups and Marketing to create Comp education/training/communication.
- Support other executive compensation duties and projects as required.
