Executive Dining Room - Line Cook - Hours M-F

Summary

The line cook is responsible for plating dishes and completing basic food preparation tasks for an Executive Dining/Professional kitchen. Main duties include preparing and cooking food in a specific station, maintaining clean prep areas and making sure the kitchen is stocked. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday and position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package which includes:

Major Duties

• Assist with stocking and setting up the kitchen each day
• Preparing food, including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking assigned recipes
• Plating prepared foods based on chef`s guidance
• Ensuring the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line or prep cook
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
