Position Overview:


The Executive Director, Business Development leads all business development personnel in identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities, with a specific focus on the East United States.


*This position can be based remotely in the US


Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of business development personnel
  • Setting individuals sales goals for business development personnel
  • Measuring and monitoring sales goals
  • Creating and executing on strategy for achieving company sales goals
  • Participates in Marketing initiatives and manages marketing support personnel
  • Assist in the creation and communication of new sales plans and strategies.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships while prospecting for new opportunities
  • Work with Account Directors to maintain relationships, priorities, and feedback
  • Maintain accurate records and log all activities in our sales force automation system
  • Communicate weekly activities and coordinate sales pipeline with sales personnel.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients about the endpoint platform
  • Participate in various trade shows and conferences
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate efficient and accurate completion of all responsibilities.
  • Assist in the winning of customer awards for new business for Business Development personnel and overall company goals.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience

Experience:

  • 8-10 years IRT or pharmaceutical services related sales experience
  • Proven track record of success in Business-to-Business Software sales
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as in a sales team environment.
  • Organized with methodical approach for prospecting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
