DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Collaborate with other senior business development and strategy team members to establish and define near-term product strategy as well as future-state strategic direction. Oversee development and implementation of digital product strategy by partnering with Product and Engineering teams on design, build, and testing of digital products. Oversee creation of go-to-market strategy including internal and external stakeholder engagement plans. Interface and partner with key executives across multiple lines of business (Private Bank, Commercial Bank, Investment Bank) on internal mass engagement strategy. Lead external go-to-market plan / product adoption in key investment centers throughout U.S. by meeting with corporate and investor targets to: discuss product strategy and key use cases, provide product demonstrations, collect feedback, and onboard to Capital Connect digital platform. Collect feedback from external Early Access Program participants and lead feedback implementation via partnership with Product and Engineering teams. Lead in-depth due diligence with third-party service providers to help with identifying new commercial opportunities, potential strategic partnerships, investments, and/or acquisitions. Monitor competitors, competitive products, and trends to ensure Digital Innovation team maintains leading position in the market. Manage junior team members, including overall performance development and day-to-day prioritization. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week. This position requires up to 40% domestic travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, Finance, Accounting or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Executive Director of Digital Innovation, Digital Innovation (Public/Private Capital Markets), Financial Technology Product Development Project Specialist/Manager, Investment Banking (such as Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, M&A), Financial/Investment Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, Finance, Accounting or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Executive Director of Digital Innovation, Digital Innovation (Public/Private Capital Markets), Financial Technology Product Development Project Specialist/Manager, Investment Banking (such as Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, M&A), Financial/Investment Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: capital raising and formation process in private and/or public markets, including early-stage high-growth capital raising ecosystem; developing technology solutions to improve capital raising and formation processes in private and/or public financial markets; performing design and customer-centric problem solving using user-centered design and testing methodologies during digital product creation process; working through all stages of the product lifecycle, from gathering feedback and shaping requirements in collaboration with designers and engineers, to defining acceptance criteria, testing, and driving adoption; developing relationships with key stakeholders in the capital deployment process; creating and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders; leveraging data from multiple database platforms to extract key analytics and insights to inform product development; working with third-party data, workflow, and customer relationship management software-as-a-service (SaaS) tools, including PitchBook, Monday, Heap, and DealCloud; using vector graphics and prototyping tool Figma during product creation, as well as while demonstrating products to external stakeholders as party of go-to-market strategy; negotiating commercial partnerships including reviewing key legal contracts; working as part of a global team.
Job Location: 560 Mission St., San Francisco, CA 94105. This position requires up to 40% domestic travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $325,000 - $325,000 per year.
