The Executive Director - IT Technology Products will lead a highly talented team of automation and release engineers by providing guidance and strategic direction for the DevOps department. All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and MGM Resorts International policies, procedures and legal requirements. At all times, the goals and interests of the department, division and all MGM Resorts International properties (individually and collectively) must be upheld and preserved.

The Executive Director - IT Technology Products will lead a highly talented team of automation and release engineers by providing guidance and strategic direction for the DevOps department. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the budget, schedule, quality, cost, and resources for respective team(s).
- Evaluate and manage vendor relationships as it relates to technical services being provided as well as software vendors supporting our organization.
- Demonstrate strong ability to collaborate with others to solve problems and determine an agreeable path forward that best meets short and long-term user needs and business objectives.
- Provide leadership and oversight for team(s) responsible for developing and implementing services and solutions associated with the Center of Excellence (COE).• Provide technical thought leadership, team mentoring, and direction throughout the COE lifecycle.
- Provide practical hands-on mentoring to team members of existing software development teams.
- Support multiple teams at the same time and report recommendations directly to teams and to the COE for the establishment of best practices and standards for other teams• Oversee Human Resources responsibilities for the specifically assigned areas; create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment.
- Promote and own new Premier Emergent Technology Solutions with high yielding ROI that creates a competitive advantage for the enterprise.
- Partner with Technology, Digital, Data (TDD) teams as the primary liaison on coordinating collective efforts and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary business liaison and program resource leader to implement In-Room Technology Solutions, New Integrated Resorts Development and any Technology Solutions across the enterprise as warranted.
- Lead & manage while strengthening strong business partnership and relationships across the enterprise.
- Change agent to create and maintain a high performing teams, positive attitude, agility, and accountability mindset.
- Ensure appropriate and timely communication of project status and results to key stakeholders and senior leadership executives.
- For product ownership, advise on and presents executive-level presentations, program updates, set targets, timelines; owns most project-related interactions with senior executive leadership
- Plays a significant role in coaching, mentoring, developing, and training other team members, even when cross-functional, and not direct reports.
- Foster, create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring,
- Responsible for the successful delivery of services by vendors for assigned products. Recommends changes in Service Provider's scope of work (process-level) and sets process-level action plans for Service Provider. Develops, recommends, and approves changes to policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement processes for timely and routine communications with all impacted parties
- Manage and collaborate cross-functionally. Build relationships with diverse population of stakeholders based on trust, transparency, partnership, competence, and consistency. This includes representing the Company with integrity, with external partners such as vendors, regulatory agencies, and peer Perform other job-related duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 4 + years leadership experience in software systems, programming, and infrastructure development and administration, automating continuous integration and continuous
PREFERRED:
- Prior experience in a similar resort setting.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Ability to obtain a valid Gaming Registration in Nevada and other related jurisdictions.
